Event Details →These aren't therapy. They're not about manifesting or healing or any of that.
They're 90 minutes of sitting down with a journal, some honest questions, and people who are actually willing to go somewhere real. You write. You think. You share if you want to. Nobody performs. Nobody has to have it figured out by the end.
Every session is led by Karissa — the person behind No More Bullsh*t. She has a background in psychology and a lifelong relationship with music. She brings both into how these sessions are built. She built this method from the ground up and has been running sessions ever since. The questions go somewhere. The room gets real fast.
People come for different reasons. Some come to think something through. Some come for a real conversation. Most leave with at least one connection they weren't expecting.
One rule: no advice.
Not because advice is bad. Because nobody in that room knows your full context. Nobody lives with your decisions but you. There are plenty of places to get advice — this isn't one of them. This is a place to share what's actually true for you, and to be heard without someone trying to fix it.
What's said in the room stays in the room.

"This was the best conversation I've had in months."
— Jamie
★★★★★
"I was a bit taken aback by the vulnerability I felt opening up to strangers. But the beautiful thing was that I felt safe in spite of the vulnerability."
— Priya
★★★★★
"I didn't realize how many people were feeling the same way I was. The session reminded me I'm not alone in what I'm going through — and that there's a space to actually talk about it."
— Marcus
★★★★★
"Inspiring way to jump into the deep with a stranger, create a more honest connection and be seen in our own truth."
— Elena
★★★★★
People leave with different things. A thought that finally has a name. A conversation that stayed with them on the drive home. A clearer sense of what they actually think. Sometimes a new friend. Sometimes just the feeling that they're not as alone in it as they thought.
How it works
You get a question. You write for a few minutes — just you and the page. Then the person next to you shares something. Then you do, if you want. By the third round, you're not strangers anymore.
Questions
Why do people come?
Different reasons. Some just need a quiet place to think — somewhere set apart from the noise. Some want a shift in perspective, to hear how other people are sitting with the same questions. Some come because they want a real conversation, not a surface one. Some come because they want to be in a room where nobody's pretending. Some are at a turning point and want to be around people who get it. Most leave with at least one connection they weren't expecting.
Do I need to bring a journal?
You can — or journals are available at a discount at the session. In the meantime, you can download a reckoning instantly. Some are free.
Do I need to have journaled before?
No. Most people who come have never journaled before. There's no correct way to do it, so don't worry. You're in good company.
What if I'm not a good writer?
Absolutely does not matter. Nobody sees what you write but you — honestly, I usually rip mine up after anyway. Some people write pages. Some people jot a few words. Some people just sit and think. There's no wrong way to use the time.
How many people are in a session?
Small groups — ten or fewer, depending on the session.
Do I have to share what I wrote?
No. It's completely up to you. Some people share specifics. Some people share ideas. Some people don't share at all. That's completely okay.
What if I get emotional?
It happens, and it's completely normal. These are safe spaces. Whatever comes up in the session stays there.
Can I come alone?
Yes. Most people do.
How much does it cost?
Upcoming public sessions are free. Email Karissa at unfiltered@nomorebsjournal.com for details on private or remote sessions.
How much notice do I need?
Sessions fill up fast — sometimes within a few hours of being announced. Sign up above or email Karissa at unfiltered@nomorebsjournal.com with where you are and what you're looking for, and she'll reach out when something's available.
How often do sessions happen?
Regularly, but not on a fixed schedule. Email Karissa at unfiltered@nomorebsjournal.com — tell her where you are and whether you're interested in in-person or remote. There may already be something coming up.
Where do they happen?
In person and remote. The in-person ones move around — on the beach, in a park, in a bookstore, in a coffee shop. Always changing. If you have a specific place in mind, reach out.
Are they in English?
Yes.
Do you run longer workshops?
Yes. Workshops run two to three hours and go deeper into one topic. Email Karissa at unfiltered@nomorebsjournal.com if you're interested.
Can I book a private session for a group?
Yes — private sessions are fully curated around what your group wants to dig into. Get in touch.
